Earthquake in Japan!

Did you hear about the earthquake in Japan? What happened? Did people die from the earthquake and tsunami? These are all questions that I have though about over the past couple of days. Have you? How can we help the people in Japan? Think of how many people are lost, died, or injured. How do you think that there family member in other country's feel about then lost or they died? I think that they are worryed and scared. The earthquake was about 9.0. That is really big and there was a lot of after shocks about 5.3 5.2 and 5.0. The weather there has also been really bad over the couple of days there was snow and that is not good for people that don't have homes or that are lost under the ruins. Hope it gets better there for them! Good luck Japan and I will keep you up dated about Japan

the new mac desktop my dad has

My dads news mac desktop.......

So today my dad got a 27in. computer desktop that is big..... it is like bigger then a flat screen TV that is big. well..... by the way it can be a TV if you really wanted it to be..... So i love it i am already playing on it like i am doing right now (writing it ). So school is almost here and ONLY a couple days away.... like maybe 4 days left 4 days left ya!!!!!! So i am so exited that i get to go to camp right after school on the 28Th Monday. We end school on a Thursday yeah.... Wow i remember the first day of school in 5Th grade (that is the middle school) . I had a field trip to the library we walked there not that fun but at least we got another trip in ( because we were only going to have that one trip but we got another trip to the Albany Museum that my teacher really made it happen because she really wanted us to go on so it happened) and it was really fun..... So next Thursday we have our field day. Then it is the summer and camp horse back riding camp all these cool thing happen in the summer. Then, we start the school yr. all over again then back to school and i will be in 6Th grade. So i am so exited and then when i am out of school i will have more time to write on this blog so keep on checking this blog and see if i keep updating it tomorrow or in the summer. talk to you guys later and hope you guys comment ....

Florida Day #5 Beach Day

Today, Wednesday, I went to Vero Beach and saw my mom and dad's friend Kim. We left early in the morning then my dad said that if take Interstate 95 all the way up the East coast it will take you to Maine without any turns. Vero Beach is 2 hours North of Miami.

We went to see horses at a private country club and went to their beach. My brother and I wnet into the cold water for like an hour. The sun was really hot and I got a good tan. It was almost 80 F. It was my first time that I went into the ocean that far. There was a lot of shell, no seaweed and water was cold.

We saw orange trees everywhere.

We went shopping, had dinner and then went back to Orlando.

Thursday we are going to the Orlando Science Center.

Kennedy Space Center with my Family

Today tuesday I went with my family to Kennedy Space Center. It was so fun but when we got there there was no tours left for the day so we did not get a tour. We had to do our own tour. I learned a lot there, that the challenger exploted in 73 seconds of the take off. There was a teacher in the challenger at the time it exploted. She was in a contest and she one it. When the astronots got in to the challenger the first time the door would not close so they had to get out and the people that fix it had to fix it for another day. Then the next day the challenger was ready for take off and in the 73 seconds of take off it exploted.

The space center built 6 shuttles. I went into a shuttle and it felt like we were moving up into the sky that was really fun.

Kristy macalan won a contest for teachers, called taechrs in space. She was one of the people on Space Shuttle Challenger. The second place winner oif the contest now wanted to fufill her dream of in beong space, but NASA stopped the program after the crash. It took Barbra Smith 22 years to train and become an offical astronaut.

I learned about both take off sites 39a and 39b. The challenger was the first space ship to go on to 39b.

3 miles is the closest spot that you can get to a launch. The families have there speicel place to to watch the launch from the top of the very tall repear center.

I saw the shuttle transporter and it was really big flatbed. It moves 1MPH and uses 150 gallons of fuel per mile. The shuttle is moved 8 miles to the take off site.

The shuttle is stored in a huge tower building that it is worked on.

We saw and went into Space Shulte Expolorer . It was not that big inside.

We also went on a launch simulator and it felt a real launch.

Most of the work is done for mouth of a head of time.

Kennedy Space Center is a nature area. We saw a raccoon, a lot of armadinols , birds, and aligaters.

I had a lot of fun and learned lot about NASA and our space adventures

Florida day 2 Universal studios

On Monday my family went to Universal Studios. It was so much fun and these are the rides I went on Men In Black, woody wood pecker, the Simpsons, jimmy neutron and the nicktoon characters, I saw shrek in 4-d, twister, jaws, E.T., terminator 2 3-d.

While in the attraction Twister I learned that F 5 was the strongest force. It could destroy a whole city in less then a hour. The people there were there in a twister to study how fast the twister goes and the force.

Jaws was so cool we went in water in a boat and then a plastic shark started to rock the boat and we got a little wet. My brother was at the end of the boat he was hanging on to my dad the whole ride. My paints were all wet and everyone was to.

I went on the simpson ride and we were in a car and not moving but it felt that we were moving this is called the Simpson adventure. It was a lot of fun.

A virtual ride is a ride that you do not move in but it feels like you are moving and going back and forth but, you are really not you are staying still and the seat just tilts. Makes you seem that you are taking a roller coster ride.

In Men In Black we got a little short cut from one of the staff members we did not have to wait in a long line.

The day i went on a plane

Well it was sunday and i left my house at 2:00 and i got up at 1:30 it was a long day. I slept most of the ride down to the city. When we got to the city it was fast and easy. When we got the gate we were 10 minutes to when we get on the plane. We got on the plane then we had to wait another 10 minutes because the way to get on the plane was not coming off so we had to wait and wit and wait. We could not do anything until the plane was up in the air. When we got to the airport in florida we got the rental car and we were out of there by 15 minutes. When we got to my grandmas friends house my brother kicked his football on a locked tennis court. He did not know that it was locked until we went to the entrance and it was locked so he did not have his football until hours later. Then we went to the food market.

We walked around winter park it has so many shops. It is a nice little town with a little park with a stage. Then we went out to dinner with my grandma we had fish and chips. Then we went to my grandmas friends house and went to bed and that is it for sunday.

Florida

In a cople of days i am going to Florida it is going to be fun. I go all my work for school and i do not want to do but HAVE TO haha. It will be alot of fun and last night I called window on the plane ( I always get the window i have to have window or i will throw up really). Well i will rwrite when i am away so come back on sunday at 8:00 and i think i will have something up at 8 i do not know thought.

The Day we got 7 inches and even more

Today we got 7 inches of snow in New York it was a really big storm we got. Well middle school got out at 10:00 and the elementary had No School that os not far, but we were at school already so they could not give us no school. Me and my brother played out in the snow when we got home it was alot of snow out there and alot of it. Well after that I came in and sat on the computer and that is what i am doing right now so that is what I did not the snow day in New York. Well I had a lot of fun in the snow it was so cool that we had 7 inches of snow ( my brother took a ruler and did it ) we havew not had that much of snow this winter at all. We maybe got 4 inches berfore but not at all in the witer this year 7 I tell youu 7 inches of snow and maybe even more then that too. By the second snow is coming down it is so exciting. We will probably not even have school towmorrow so that is what i have to say and i will keep telling you how much snow we get here in New York. I can not wait intill tomorrow and here that we have no school. Well i got to go so i will keep on telling you how much snow we get here in New York.

SUPERBOWL DAY

Well you now about the bet that my dad and brother did right. Well my brother lost it he did 26 or 27 around there , well he has to wear the saints shirt when routing for colts. My dad and him after the race went to dicks sporting good and got him a shirt. It would be funny if my brother had to wear a pink shirt well i would laugh but i will not because he would be mad. I was at the end of the race when he came in and her was so sad that he did not win the bet but i knew that he was not going to win the bet. I knew it from the second they mad the bet. Well i am routing for the saints and my mom, dad so he is the only one in our family that is not routing for the saints. The Colts The Colts is who he is routing for how could he, well that is who he is going for. So I will tell you at the end of the SUPERBOWL what kind of shirt he wore, and if any one asked him why are you wearing a saints shirt when routing for the colts. So this is going to be so funny. I am getting ready for the SUPERBOWL and so I have to go.

SUPERBOWL

Well the SUPERBBOWL is tomorrow so I just want to say that the saints are going to kick butt. I like the saints. My brother is routing for the colts so i can not talk to him intill the SUPERBOWL is over. My dad and him made a bet ( my dad and my brother are running a race tomorrow) that if my brother can run a 25 min 5k that my dad has to wear a colts shrit and route for the colts but, if my brother does not do a 25 min 5k that he has to wear a saints pink shirt but he can still route for the colts. this is going to be soooooo funny.

Time to get up

it is time to get up at 6:00 in the morning to go to school at 7:45. I do this every single morning it is hard to because, i am tired in the morning. I am going to have a long but fun day. I have fun in school i love school. A lot of people do not like school but I do. i have to go to school now.

New paltz trukey trot

there was a Trukey trot in new Paltz on November 26th.It was a fun day i also ran the race. my brother Justin he ran the race too it was a really fun race, there was over 1,000 people running this race. it was a really big race.I could not belive how many people was running this race.

the book I reed "Hatchet"

Hatchet is about this 13 year old kid that is going to see his dad in Canada.the kids name is Brian Roberson, his mom and dad got a devious. Brian is staying with his mom in the school year and with his dad in the summer. He is on his way to his dad in Canada, his mom gives him just a hatchet that is it. He is about 100 miles to were his dad lives and then the.......... pilot is in a coma and they are almost out of gas.He does not know how to fly the plane no clue at all, all he knows it to step on the gas.

So he has to land the plane. He does not know were to land it because, there is just lakes and trees. So Brian is landing the plane in a lake.
"I am safe but the pilot is deit in the lake sinking right now" he said. now all he has to do is make a seltter..............

I love to ride horses it is soo much fun. I go to a camp every summer we ride horses EVERY day it is so much fun oh almost for got it is a sleep away camp but, i am lucky that my dad runs the kitchen.

what i did this weekend 3/7-8/09

This weekend i went to acting classes. Acting is fun to go to every Saturday at 9:00a.m. We are doing a play that is about the sky is falling. I have a funny part that i am in. On sunday i watched my brother that is 6 years old run a half marathon. He came in at 2:33:08. My brother was the youngest to ever run the race. The prises that he got were so cool 2 tickets to the mets game May 25th 2009, 1st place in 19 and under he was the only on that won 19 and under male and he also got running socks that are so cool. i was happy that he did his best to finsh the race i think he is too.
